24 Hr Resistance

An exercise circuit with a series of activities ranging from the poetic to the practical to inspire political engagement and activsim.

100 Days Action closes out the first hundred days of the incoming Presidential administration with an exhibition that builds sustained resistance. Set up like a circuit training gym in the front gallery at YBCA, 24 Hour Resistance is a series of stations that warm up your artivism. Visitors can tackle “Exercise Your Tear Ducts” (read today’s NYT while grating an onion), “Yoga For Protest” (Minjeong Kim’s custom sequence includes Refugees Welcome pose), and “High Intensity Cardio: Call Your Estranged Loved One”. Progress is encouraged by a 100 Days Trainer and a Workout Log to keep track of artivist health and fitness.
